Pineapple pound cake

 


My famous pineapple pound cake

Cake Recipe

3 sticks unsalted butter at room temp

8 oz cream cheese at room temp

6 eggs at room temp

3 cups granulated sugar

1 tbs vanilla extract

1 tbs crème bouquet

3 cups cake flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp sea salt

20 oz can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup (drained)

Pineapple Sauce

20 oz can crushed pineapple in juice 

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 tbs corn starch 

1 tbs vanilla extract

Glaze

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Splash of vanilla extract

About 2 tbs pineapple juice

Enough heavy cream to reach desired consistency
