Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 medium head of cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening the sauce)
- 1/2 cup water or chicken broth (optional, for adjusting sauce consistency)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon cooking wine (optional)
Instructions:
1. Heat cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
2. Add ground pork and stir-fry until browned. Add cooking wine (if using) to deglaze the pan.
3. Add sliced cabbage and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch (if using), and water (if using).
5. Pour the sauce over the pork and cabbage mixture. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients evenly.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. and serve hot.
